Great way to sell your house. I figured why pay the listing agent 3% when I could pay the selling agent 5% and still save 1% of the selling price. It worked out great. The people at ADDvantage answered real estate questions when I was in doubt. One person even suggested a counter offer strategy that I ended up using to close the sale. Get listed on the MLS, control your commission to the selling agent, still be able to sell by owner and possibly pay no commission; definitely save 2-3% comission from the listing agent that usually doesn't even sell your home, but pockets your comission.
